VISUAL ART
The visual art program at CCHS is designed to inspire students by developing and fostering a connection with God the creator through exploration of our gift of creativity. CCHS provides beginning, intermediate, and advanced students with a solid understanding of creative processes and techniques that can be used to create works of art. The visual art courses will provide a foundation for students that wish to enjoy art as a hobby as well as students that will pursue art as a career. Each student will also improve their ability of observation and visual organization along with an improved vocabulary for articulating aesthetic ideas. Visual art courses include Art 1, Art 2, Honors Art 3 and 4, AP Studio Art. Each year CCHS art students participate in the ACSI Art Fine Art Competition and have earned the following awards:

PERFORMING ART
Since opening the doors in 2006, CCHS has successfully performed the following shows:

CHOIR (Vocal Fundamentals, Mixed Choir, and Honors Ensemble, Men’s Auxano Choir)
As part of our commitment to “excellence in Fine Art,” our choral program has made great strides in representing the best of the best in musical talent. Our Mixed Choir and Honors Ensemble compete in the ACSI Fine Art competion each year in Raleigh, NC and have earned the following awards:
